The objective is to propose an intercultural pedagogical model that has emerged as a complementary alternative to Paulo Freire's pedagogy of the oppressed in the context of education in the province of Loja - Ecuador. The methodology developed was generated from a rationalist process of knowledge as a mental process of the researchers, who, through their experience, academic-scientific learning. This process demands a particular effort to recognize the diversity of pedagogical knowledge as necessary to build interculturality in education. An Intercultural Pedagogical Model born from the entrails of the Ancestral Knowledge, guarantees the holistic development of knowledge and the inclusion of the original peoples and nationalities with their own knowledge and wisdom.
