Uncystic ameloblastoma. Imaging case study for an accurate diagnosis.

Objective: To identify unicystic ameloblastoma from imaging studies for an accurate diagnosis. Method: Descriptive observational study. Conclusion: The study reveals the diversity of dental pathologies detected by tomographic imaging in a sample of 60 patients, highlighting a relatively low incidence of unicystic ameloblastoma (2%). The significant prevalence of implants (23%) and periapical cysts (10%) underlines the importance of a detailed evaluation and the increasing trend towards the use of dental implants. The identification of various conditions, ranging from root debris to periapical granulomas, emphasizes the need for accurate diagnosis and adequate treatment to prevent complications. These findings highlight the crucial role of advanced imaging techniques in the diagnosis and management of dental pathologies, ensuring comprehensive and effective care in clinical practice.
