Abstract

Objective: To compare the new treatments and properties, as well as to see the correct use, advantages and disadvantages of digital and conventional anesthesia in dental techniques. Method: Descriptive documentary study, the population sample was 15 articles published in PubMed. Conclusion: Despite technological advances in dentistry and the introduction of techniques such as computer-controlled local anesthesia, designed to improve patient comfort and control the administration of anesthesia, the preference of professionals still tends towards the conventional method.
