Cirugías preprotésicas para rehabilitación dental

Objetivo: Analizar las cirugías preprotésicas para rehabilitación dental. Método: Se aplicó un diseño documental, con revisión sistemática de 15 bibliografías en bases de datos como PubMed, Scielo y Google Académico. Conclusión: Las cirugías preprotésicas, se caracterizan por no tener gran complejidad, enfocadas principalmente en exodoncias, endodoncias, dentoalveolares, quistectomías, entre otras, con la finalidad de crear estructuras de soporte para tejidos duros y blandos que se adecuen a la colocación posterior de dispositivos protésicos, realizados con más frencuencia en pacientes edéntulos o parcialmente edéntulos, con fines funcionales, estéticos y mejorar la calidad de vida del paciente.
