Teenage pregnancy due to rape and sequelae of depression

Objective: To analyze the sequelae of depression in adolescents pregnant as a result of rape. Method: Documentary descriptive, 15 scientific articles published in PubMed were analyzed. Conclusion: Addressing adolescent pregnancy requires a comprehensive approach that includes education, access to health services, emotional and social support, as well as the promotion of healthy relationships and empowerment of adolescents. Reducing adolescent pregnancy rates is essential to improve the health and well-being of adolescents and promote healthy development in all areas of their lives.
