Abstract

Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of strategies to improve self-esteem and quality of life of nursing students at the Universidad de los Andes in Ambato - Ecuador. Method: descriptive observational. Conclusion: the current findings underline the need to direct more initiatives towards identifying and overcoming barriers to increase the quality of life of university students. It is recommended that psychological intervention programs be implemented in the academic and professional training of nursing students and other university students to improve their self-esteem and quality of life. It is essential to pay attention to the emotional and mental health of students since these variables have a significant impact on their well-being and academic success.
