Abstract

Objective: To analyze the clinical management of third molar surgery in a female patient with allergies to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), identifying the direction of third molar eruption in the patient based on radiographic studies. Method: Descriptive observational documentary study. Results and conclusion: It is determined that the use of tramadol 37.5 mg in conjunction with 125 mg of paracetamol, 3 times a day for 3 days, will be the appropriate treatment for this particular case. The combination of low doses of opioids and NSAIDs tolerated by the patient, allows avoiding adverse reactions and side effects caused by them.
