Prevalence of burnout syndrome due to Covid 19

Objective: to determine the prevalence of Burnout syndrome due to Covid-19 in the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital - Ecuador. Method: Descriptive observational study. Results and Conclusion: We were able to identify 25 health professionals who presented Burnout Syndrome due to Covid-19, determining a prevalence of 18.66%, and among the demographic and labor factors most frequently presented were: sex: female, marital status: married, with children, profession: nursing, position: nurses, work area: intensive care unit, emergency, internal medicine, with shifts, and with more than one job. Compared with previous studies carried out in this institution, the data obtained in this research are different because of the Covid-19 pandemic, since they have increased.
