Abstract

The educational institutions constitute an important scenario for the health promotion of teachers, students, and even families; to use it effectively, especially teachers, it is necessary to know their working and health conditions. The main objective of this study was to study some of the working conditions and health of teaching staff, supported by authors such as Unesco (2008), Caldera, Esteve and Roel (2012), WHO (2008), among others. Content under a descriptive, interpretive, bibliographic-analytical study, which used qualitative methodology. In this way, it is necessary to rethink new administrative schemes, where spaces for rest and replacement of work capacity are generated. Likewise, health and productivity are an important component; Therefore, the promotion of occupational health emerged as a broad and positive concept of health, which involves defending, raising the quality of life and the dignity of people working in the educational field.
