Objective: To carry out an analysis of the components of the Removable Partial Prosthesis. Method: 10 articles and books related to the research topic, removable partial dentures, used in dentistry, were analyzed. Results and conclusions: A wide variety of elements that have special and different characteristics and indications were determined, it was determined that the preferred hooks They are Acker's circumferential due to their versatility, the larger connectors depend on the case of each patient; As a conclusion, it was obtained that knowing the elements of the PPR, its indications and characteristics, it was determined that the dental professional has the responsibility and criteria to discern and choose the appropriate prosthetic device to meet the needs and requirements of the partially edentulous patient, preparing indications for preparation to the dental laboratory complying with the biomechanical, ethical and legal requirements that make up a PPR.
