Abstract

Objective: The objective of this research is to analyze and compare the addiction to social networks presented in university students, both in men and women, establishing a difference in their use. Method: The methodology used in the research consists of a non-experimental design and a descriptive and comparative level, which establishes the order within the collection and development of statistical data by equally inflicting the comparative level at the time of developing the investigation. Results and conclusions: It was not really possible to find a difference of great magnitude between the gender distinction and the excessive use of social networks. There was no central value that differentiates addiction between men and women, even this is given in some of the participants as similar, with a small difference, demonstrating that there is no significant difference.
