Abstract

Objective: To analyze the sociodemographic factors associated with Burnout Syndrome in nursing professionals.  Method: is a quantitative documentary-bibliographic type that consisted of the systematic review of scientific articles indexed in widely recognized scientific databases, with the purpose of obtaining the results of this review of scientific literature, selecting several articles that support the research topic. Results and conclusions: The marital status has been associated to this syndrome with people who do not have a stable partner, single people have greater emotional fatigue. It can be observed that the sociodemographic factors associated with Burnout syndrome influence the exercise of the nursing profession, especially those related to age and number of children in the home, the first case in a negative way for those who start the work and the second case in a positive way since it helps to cope with the demands.
