Impacto en la imagen corporal de mujeres con cáncer de mama en tratamiento oncológico

Objetivo: analizar el impacto en la imagen corporal en mujeres con cáncer de mama que reciben tratamiento oncológico mediante una revisión bibliográfica. Método: Descriptivo observacional de revisión bibliográfica, en población de 15 articulos científicos. Resultados y conclusión: Los tratamientos oncológicos afectan gravemente la imagen corporal de las pacientes con cáncer de mama, provocando consecuencias físicas, psicológicas y sociales que las hacen sentir avergonzadas e inseguras de sí mismas. Por ende, se hace indispensable el apoyo familiar y orientación por parte del personal de salud para hacer más llevadero todo este proceso.
