Factores psicosociales de riesgo asociados al consumo de cigarrillo y alcohol en funcionarios públicos

Objetivo: Determinar el grado en el que la exposición de los factores psicosociales de riesgo a la salud influye en el consumo de alcohol y cigarrillo en servidores gubernamentales de la ciudad de Quito – Ecuador. Método: Descriptivo observacional. Resultados y conclusiones: Las personas expuestas a los factores psicosociales de riesgo a la salud presentan mayor afectación por el consumo de alcohol y cigarrillo). Por otro lado, los odds ratio permitieron aseverar con el 95% de confianza que, la alta carga de trabajo incrementa el consumo de licor hasta en 3,5 veces. Las pobres relaciones sociales aumentan la probabilidad consumir alcohol hasta en 4,5 veces; y la carga de trabajo aumenta el riesgo en dos puntos de fumar en la población investigada.
