Prevalencia del herpes-virus simple (hsv) en la cavidad bucal en pacientes mayores a 50 años

Resumen

Objetivo: Analizar la prevalencia del herpes-virus simple (HSV) en la cavidad bucal en pacientes mayores a 50 años. Método: Descriptivo documental con revisión de 15 articulos ubicados en base de datos PubMed. Conclusión: Se determinó la prevalencia luego de medir la frecuencia absoluta y relativa de herpes bucal y otras patologías en el grupo poblacional seleccionado, y luego se construyeron las distintas distribuciones de frecuencia de acuerdo con las variables edad, sexo, nivel de instrucción y concomitancia con otras lesiones bucales.
