Síndrome de burnout durante la COVID-19 en trabajadores del servicio de emergencia

Objetivo: Determinar el grado de afectación del Síndrome de Burnout durante la pandemia COVID-19 en los trabajadores del servicio de emergencia del Hospital IESS-Riobamba en el año 2020. Método: Observacional descriptivo. Resultados: La dimensión psicológica “desgaste emocional” presenta el promedio más alto 78,4%, estando muy cerca el “Cinismo” con 71,1%. Conclusión: El agotamiento emocional se asoció de forma independiente con variables nominales como edad, estado civil, y profesión. Además de explorar más estas asociaciones, las investigaciones futuras deberían investigar si las intervenciones diseñadas para reducir el agotamiento ayudan a los profesionales de la salud a cambiar su ambiente laboral.
