Modos superiores de vibración y cortante basal dinámico de edificios irregulares sobre suelos medianamente rígidos

Resumen

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar los modos superiores de vibración y cortante basal dinámico de edificios irregulares sobre suelos medianamente rígidos. Metodológicamente la investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo de modalidad documental y experimental; Se modelaron 21 estructuras tridimensionales de 4, 7 y 10 niveles, considerando siete tipos de irregularidades definidas por la norma de construcción vigente. Mediante análisis dinámico espectral y estático lineal, se determinaron los periodos de vibración, masas efectivas, factores de participación y cortantes basales. Los resultados demostraron que las edificaciones de 10 niveles presentan una influencia significativa de los modos superiores en todos los casos de edificios analizados, mientras que en las de 7 niveles esta influencia se manifiesta en la mitad de los modelos. En conclusión, la altura y el tipo de irregularidad son factores determinantes en la activación de modos superiores, recomendándose análisis no lineales dinámicos para edificaciones mayores a 7 niveles.
