Strategic management as a tool for transformation in educational management

The research aims to transform the conceptions that teachers have about the administrative and educational processes of the Manuel Vicente Cuervo Bolivarian School through the principles of participatory management. For this, the action research modality was used as a method, with the co-participation of 21 social actors, made up of 19 teachers and two coordinators who were integrated into the processes of diagnosis, design, execution and evaluation of the proposal. The research is based on the conception of the socio-critical paradigm, which arises in response to positivist and interpretative traditions that have had little influence on social transformation. To perform the diagnosis and evaluation of the results of the applied actions, techniques such as; rapid participatory diagnosis and observation, through instruments; records and observation scales. An action plan was developed and executed to transform the participation of teachers in educational management processes through the empowerment of tools based on strategic management.
