Educational quality indicators for the virtual modality of the Catholic University of Cuenca, Ecuador

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this article is to expose the proposal of a system of educational quality measurement indicators for the virtual modality at the Catholic University of Cuenca, to achieve this, a bibliographic review investigation has been carried out on the models and concepts of criteria that have been applied and proposed by different authors and educational quality assurance agencies in Ecuador and the region. Among the input documents, the self-assessment models of the University and the generic model of evaluation of the 2017 career learning environment are reviewed, which is in force to date and is used by the current CACES (Council for Quality Assurance). of Higher Education). As a conclusion of the article, the categorized proposal of educational quality evaluation indicators aimed at the online higher education modality is presented. Likewise, the conclusions and recommendations give rise to the proposal and research to be complemented with the incorporation of standards and the integration of new and diverse indicators that need to be addressed based on the changing career certification guidelines and new educational elements that emerge. in this type of study.
