Environmental education for the formation of a sustainable ecological culture

The general objective of the research was to analyze environmental education for the formation of a sustainable ecological culture. The present research was developed under the positivist paradigm, in this sense the quantitative one was chosen, framed from a documentary-bibliographic design, since a series of data to the investigated topic is analyzed and studied, which intends to investigate what has been reached and registered by other researchers, in printed and electronic sources, among other bibliographic references that support this documentary inquiry. Likewise, the study population is made up of theses, journals, refereed works, forming the theoretical body. The analytical-synthetic method is also proposed. It is concluded that it is essential to encourage active, cooperative and integral intervention in the environmental occurrence as a link of understanding of social phenomena, to stimulate critical knowledge about real scenarios, promoting and developing sustainable actions through the promotion of values and culture for nature and life.
