Feasibility of implementing family organic gardens in Pantano Abajo, Miranda municipality, Falcón state, Venezuela

With the purpose of analyzing the possibility for the development of family organic gardens in the Pantano Abajo sector of the Miranda municipality, Falcón state. A non-experimental, descriptive field work was carried out; the sample consisted of 20 families to which a self-administered questionnaire was applied to obtain the required information. The results show that 95% do not know what an organic garden and an organic product are, however, they are interested in knowing what is related to this matter. Likewise, 95% of families are interested in installing orchards in their homes and have spaces for it. 100% are willing to receive training in this area, on the other hand, 80% demand to know about roots and tubers, 10% vegetables and 10% fruit trees; and 95% are willing to dedicate time to this activity.
