Infringement of the principle of legality in the crime of unlawful association

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the violation of the principle of legality in the crime of illicit association. The method used in the research was based on the qualitative approach, handling the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology. The research technique applied was the interview; the tool or instrument that supported it was the interview guide which was applied to judges, prosecutors and lawyers of free exercise of the profession in order to collect relevant information on the crime of association and its application to demonstrate the vulnerability of the principle of legality. An analytical-reflexive process was generated. It is concluded that, article 370 of illicit association, in the legal framework, has many shortcomings, such as the lack of clear concepts, when a person has associated with the purpose of committing a crime, its degree of participation, which crimes can be associated.
