Protection measures for victims of gender-based violence during isolation by Covid-19

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the protection measures for gender victims during isolation by Covid-19. The method used in the research was based on the qualitative approach, using the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology. The research technique applied was the interview. An analytical-reflexive process was generated, contributing to the generation of the extension of the state of the art. It is concluded that violence against women and members of the family has increased considerably during the state of emergency as a result of the Covid-19 health emergency; showing worrying rates with greater presence in rural areas of the country, so it is required from the Ecuadorian State to implement a public policy of coordinated, effective and efficient action in order to achieve a decrease in the crime rate in terms of gender violence and domestic violence.
