Planificación estratégica, liderazgo transformacional y calidad del servicio en una red de salud de Chanchamayo, Perú

Objective: To determine the relationship between strategic planning, transformational leadership, and service quality in a health network in Chanchamayo, Peru, in 2025. Method: Quantitative, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational study with a census sample of 127 workers. A structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale was administered, and hypotheses were tested with Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient. Results: Strategic planning showed a very strong positive relationship with service quality (Rho = 0.828; p = 0.003), and transformational leadership a strong positive relationship (Rho = 0.719; p = 0.003). The managerial dimension (Rho = 0.615) and innovation (Rho = 0.762) showed the strongest associations within each variable. Conclusions: Service quality could be strengthened through an integrated approach that promotes managerial planning, innovation, motivation, and transformational leadership, providing evidence to support managerial decision-making in public health institutions.
