Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the level of empirical knowledge about elementary oral lesions in university students and to analyze how this knowledge is applied in daily practice. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: The urgent need to improve oral health education at university level is highlighted. Empirical knowledge of elementary oral lesions is limited among students, suggesting the need for more effective educational interventions.
