Abstract

Objective: To analyze the knowledge of oral problems using the Delphi method in university students. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: 88% do not have red and/or swollen gums, and 13% have noticed red gums. Conclusion: Knowledge about oral problems among university students is insufficient, which underlines the need for specific educational interventions. The implementation of the Delphi method has made it possible to identify critical areas of lack of knowledge and to develop effective educational strategies. Integrating oral health education into university curricula is essential to promote better oral health and prevent oral problems in this population.
