Abstract

Objective: To find out the determinants associated with the academic performance of students that directly influence their university life and successful completion of their degree. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: In the academic factors, the academic average is taken into account, 19% (n=57) corresponds to a high level (10-9), 78.7% (n=236) corresponds to a medium level (8-7), 2.3% (n=7) corresponds to a low level (6-0). Conclusion: The data obtained in the study reflect the close relationship between the different personal and academic factors in the student's life. That is to say, these can favour or limit academic performance, influencing to a greater or lesser degree the results considered successful for the career.
