Objective: To analyze regenerative endodontics as an application of platelet-rich fibrin in permanent teeth with vital pulp. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: The applications of FRP that have been found in the literature for endodontic treatments have been successful due to their rapid healing, however, it is important to carefully evaluate each case, taking into account that there is the possibility of providing patients with various therapeutic alternatives. It is necessary to take into account the risk/benefit ratio for both the operator and the patient, for whom the application of FRP instead of root canal treatment will be more favorable. The prognosis of the tooth will be attributed to many factors such as pulpal pathology, the state of the periapical region and the viability of the living tissues.
