Diagnosis and treatment of sialolithiasis

Objective: To analyze the diagnosis and treatment of sialolithiasis. Method: Descriptive documentary study. Conclusion: Sialolithiasis is a relevant clinical condition in dentistry, requiring a comprehensive approach to its diagnosis and treatment. Advances in imaging techniques and therapeutic procedures have significantly improved the ability of oral health professionals to manage this condition effectively. However, further research is needed to optimize diagnostic and treatment algorithms and improve long-term clinical outcomes for patients with sialolithiasis.
