Keratitis secondary to the use of makeup

Objective: to analyze keratitis secondary to the use of makeup. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: Makeup seriously affects the eyes, pathologies such as keratitis can be observed and secondary to this a dry eye due to three factors the first one is the migration of makeup particles from eyelid to ocular surface and tear film, preservatives and preservatives, all these together are responsible for an alteration of the tear film and deficiency of meibomian glands which leads to dry eye and inflammatory keratitis.
