Abstract

Objective: Presentation of a clinical case in a patient with muscle hematoma with infectious cellulitis. The patient is a 55 year old mestizo female patient from Pelileo, a housewife, with blood group 0+, and has three normal deliveries with three living children; the patient has a history of important antecedents such as hysterectomy. Conclusion: Cellulitis is caused by bacteria that affect the wound and if not treated quickly can cause great morbidity in people. In this occasion we talked about a case of a 55 year old woman who presented a fall of twice her height which caused the blood vessels of her right leg to break and obstruct the upper middle third of the femur and when not treated promptly she continues to have an advance of cellulitis.
