In vitro analysis of the internal configuration of teeth by means of the diaphanisation technique

Objective: To carry out an in-vitro analysis of the internal configuration of dental pieces using the diaphanization technique. Method: Experimental in-vitro study. Results and conclusion: The diaphanization technique is a great contribution to the study of the internal configuration, as it shows us how the tooth is structured on the inside, allowing us to see the dental canals and their classification in a three-dimensional manner. This procedure consists of different stages, in which decalcification occurs with nitric acid at a concentration of 5%, a dehydration stage with changes in ethyl alcohol at 75% and 96% and finally the transparent stage using epoxy resin.
