This paper describes the current conditions of the quality of the physical environment in the work environment for the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Technical University of Manabí, based on the arguments and evaluation parameters provided by Royal Decree 488/1997. For which a baseline was raised on what are the conditions in which the activities are carried out, likewise an assessment of the lighting and noise parameters was made, for which we worked with methodologies annexed to RD 488/1997, the which evidenced that in greater proportion all the measurements are within the average ranges established for this type of facilities, the risks were also weighted based on the present causes, to determine the preventive measures in each of the parameters studied.
