Bifurcated root in lower canines by cone beam computed tomography

Objective: To analyze the bifurcated root in lower canines through cone beam computed tomography. Method: Descriptive documentary with a bibliographic review of 15 articles. Conclusion: Today's microscope allows to see even the smallest details, it allows to see a precise location, trajectory and relationship with the anatomical structures close to the mandibular canal, which is of great help to plan any surgery in the mandibular region by reducing the risk of damaging the inferior alveolar nerve. It allows visualization of the radial dimension, as well as the number of conductors and their physiology in three dimensions, making it applicable in cases of complex morphology.
