Abstract

Objective: To analyze the control of anxiety in pediatric patients to local anesthetic. Method: Descriptive documentary of 16 articles published in the last 5 years in PubMed, Scopus, WOS databases. Conclusion: Anxiety will be more present in pediatric patients due to several factors, one of which is the knowledge of new things, as it is known that in the office there are strong smells or sounds which can put our child in much doubt, for which after seeing the results we can say that the distraction technique is the most used, in which we play videos, music to the child so that he does not think only about the fear or pain that can occur when we want to remove a carious tissue in general.
