Abstract

Objective: The objective of the study was to analyze dental distraction techniques in pediatric patients. Methods: The research was descriptive, longitudinal and observational, the population was 10 scientific journals and the sample was 27 articles. Results and conclusions: Within the exposed analysis, different distraction techniques have been identified for a good result in dental treatments in pediatric patients, using an appropriate use of various tools and instruments to achieve a specific result in different patients, thanks to the different references. investigated, it was possible to demonstrate its efficacy and warmth in a good treatment, highlighting that all the techniques have the same effectiveness, but the most accepted and executed is that of "tell, show and do" that yielded positive results in their patients, since they It gives security to those who go to the clinic for the first time and is highly effective when carrying out the treatment.
