Sociodemographic factors and burnout syndrome in dental students

Objective: To determine the prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in 7th to 10th semester students of the Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes, and whether or not there is a relationship with different sociodemographic factors. Method: Descriptive observational. Conclusion: It was determined that the levels of prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in students of Dentistry from 7th to 10th semester of the Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes associated with sociodemographic and socioeconomic variables presented in greater number a level of mild prevalence in 157 students - 76.96%, a level of severe prevalence in only 3 students - 1.47%, 2 students did not present burnout syndrome - 0.98% of the total sample evaluated (204 students).
