Abstract

According to a study of SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC AND ECONOMIC
CHARACTERIZATION OF THE PEOPLE OF CAUJARAO MUNICIPIO MIRANDA
ESTADO FALCON 2015. 80% of the patients go to the rural outpatient clinic of Caujarao, for that reason the first level of primary care is very important, to avoid the exodus Of patients to the centers of care of the second and third level, and avoiding hospital congestion. This research was qualitative-quantitative, a citizen assembly was held to identify problems, Primary Care strategies were used, it was determined in a group of 30 patients evaluated, that the main cause of morbidity is hypertension, 22 cases representing 73% of patients. Therefore it is recommended to maintain activities of promotion and prevention of this disease. In the same way, there were multiple educational activities between workshops and approaches, which also allowed the integration of the health and community team.
