Consecuencias de restauraciones con mercurio en la salud bucodental del paciente

Objetivo: Analizar las consecuencias de restauraciones con mercurio en la salud bucodental del paciente. Método: Descriptivo documental. Conclusión: Las restauraciones con mercurio plantean varios desafíos y preocupaciones tanto para los pacientes como para los profesionales de la odontología. La educación continua y la investigación son cruciales para comprender plenamente los riesgos y beneficios asociados, y para desarrollar estrategias efectivas que garanticen la seguridad y el bienestar de los pacientes. La transición hacia materiales alternativos y prácticas de manejo de mercurio adecuadas son pasos esenciales hacia una odontología más segura y sostenible.
