Presencia o no de enfermedades en el sistema digestivo debido al consumo de alcohol

Objetivo: Analizar la presencia o no de enfermedades en el sistema digestivo debido al consumo de alcohol. Método: Descriptiva documental. Conclusión: El consumo de alcohol, especialmente cuando es excesivo y prolongado, se asocia de manera significativa con diversas enfermedades del sistema digestivo, incluyendo enfermedad hepática alcohólica, pancreatitis, gastritis, úlceras pépticas y cáncer de esófago. Los mecanismos patogénicos subyacentes, que involucran daño oxidativo, inflamación y alteraciones en el microbioma intestinal, resaltan la complejidad de estas condiciones y la necesidad de enfoques terapéuticos integrales.
