Evaluación de la prevalencia de caries dental en niños de edad escolar

Objetivo: Evaluar la prevalencia de caries dental en niños de edad escolar. Método: Descriptivo documental. Conclusión: El tratamiento recomendado y no perjudicial es la aplicación de fluoruro, la eficacia del fluoruro como agente cariostático depende de la disponibilidad de fluoruro libre en la placa durante la producción de ácido. Por lo tanto, un suministro constante de bajos niveles de fluoruro en biopelícula / saliva / interferencia dental se considera el más beneficioso para prevenir la caries dental.
