Consecuencias de un tratamiento ortodóntico inadecuado

Objetivo: Analizar las consecuencias de un tratamiento ortodóntico inadecuado. Método: Descriptiva documental, se revisaron 15 artículos publicados en PubMed durante los últimos cinco años relacionados al tema de investigación. Conclusión: Es importante que los ortodoncistas sigan los estándares éticos y las mejores prácticas para garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de sus pacientes, sobre todo darles un seguimiento correcto y puntual en caso de que el paciente necesite una revisión, de este modo aseguramos el correcto desarrollo del tratamiento y los resultados esperados.
