Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze leadership within the institutional climate among university faculty members. Methodologically, the study was based on a quantitative, documentary approach. The techniques employed were a literature review and content analysis; the instruments used included analysis matrices and data collection forms. The PRISMA statement was also followed. This process yielded 15 articles from the Scielo, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. As a result, various aspects were identified, such as: the faculty member as a leader, the valuation of human talent, leadership as a guarantor of university innovation, dialogue grounded in freedom of expression, and the role of digital tools, among others. It was concluded that faculty leadership must be grounded in an inclusive educational approach capable of fostering a favorable climate and sustainable, transformational pedagogical practice.
