Financial expert model program and its application in university classrooms

The objective of this study was to analyze a financial expert model program as a tool for learning in university classrooms. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. A survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire with semi-open-ended questions was used as an instrument. The sample consisted of 30 students and 6 teachers from various universities in the country. The results revealed that students were able to obtain gains in their investments during a simulation, although there was significant variability in individual results. Therefore, it was concluded how important financial education is in decision making both in investment risk management and personal financial planning.
