The pedagogy of love and tenderness for the humanization of educational practice

Nowadays, an education is required that brings the human being closer to his essence, and educates him in his relationship with the world, in his power to understand the other, which demands to discuss about the educational practices from pedagogical perspectives powerfully humanistic. From these premises, this article is presented with the purpose of describing the pedagogy of love and tenderness as an approach that enables a humanized and humanizing educational practice. Methodologically, it is based on a documentary study guided by a bibliographic design. Finally, it can be stated that the pedagogy of love and tenderness is presented as a possibility of educating for human dignity, which is forged as an authentic act of freedom based on mutual consideration and recognition that occurs between teacher-student through sincere dialogue marked by affection, respect, tolerance, solidarity and empathy
