Challenges in post-pandemic basic education in Ecuador

Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze the challenges in post-pandemic basic education in Ecuador. The methodology used was the quantitative approach, through inquiry, collection and critical documentary and bibliographic reference analysis, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources such as scientific research, articles and refereed works, among others, describing the findings. The researchers planned the research work, whose study population consisted mainly of bibliographic documents related to the subject under study. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied. It is concluded that the challenges and challenges in post-pandemic basic education in Ecuador should call for a review and rethinking of public policies in education, to strengthen the weaknesses found during the pandemic. It should include and design new ways of teaching that involve personal values, management of technological tools in different learning environments.
