Teaching Research Competences: An Alternative in Rural Institutions

The purpose of the article is to analyze the investigative competencies in institutional teachers in rural institutions. Methodologically, the study focused on a critical analysis of bibliographic and documentary sources, as well as a theoretical review of authors, hand in hand with a survey of data from journals, institutional repositories, among others. It is concluded that a teacher with training in investigative competencies must be constantly updated in order to have multidisciplinary skills for the design and undertaking of research programs and projects and thereby be able to solve problems that arise in rural contexts of the society.
