Infringement of the principle of legal certainty in the acquisition of Ecuadorian nationality

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the violation of the principle of legal certainty in the acquisition of Ecuadorian nationality. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of this research was based on the positivist paradigm from the quantitative method, through the inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, rules and laws among others, describing the findings. It is concluded that legal certainty is the basis of public confidence in relation to the actions of the various public authorities; by means of this right, the actions of the authorities of any order must maintain strict observance of the regulations in force.
