Trafficking in persons as a violation of the right to human mobility in Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze human trafficking as a violation of the right to human mobility in Ecuador. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the methodology was based on the methodology with quantitative approach, through the inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, rules and laws among others, describing the findings. In the research, documentary review was used as a technique, which allowed obtaining valuable information to frame the most usual events, problems and reactions of people and cultures that are the object of analysis. It is concluded that there is a lack of public policies on the part of the Ecuadorian State to control crimes that are likely to be committed in these border areas, such as drug trafficking, smuggling and human trafficking.
