Problemas asociados con el consumo de tabaco en los estudiantes de medicina

Objetivo: determinar de manera integral y exhaustiva las afecciones que produce el tabaco en la salud de los estudiantes de segundo semestre de medicina paralelo “F”, de la Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes. Método: Descriptiva observacional. Resultados: se reconoce que la mayoría de encuestados no sienten dependencia alguna hacia el cigarrillo mientras que el 33.3% en algún momento han sentido dependencia hacia el tabaco. Conclusión: La prevalencia del consumo de tabaco se encuentra más relacionado con el estrés más no el desconocimiento se establece una mayor eficacia de estas si el enfoque se da hacia el manejo de estrés y la importancia de la salud mental, esperando que de esta manera los estudiantes no tengan que recurrir a el tabaco o ningún otro tipo de droga buscando una disminución del estrés o una mayor aceptación social.
